Excellent quality and they fit comfortably. I ordered the biggest size and I was afraid it would be small, but it worked perfect. I would say they ran a bit biggerFor American buyers, better transpose the European size into American using an app. They fit my foot like a sock, but strangely did not hurt, the leather and cut is so good. The first class my toes went numb, the second already the shoe fit better, by the fourth they were fine, if tight. My teacher told me the shoe will conform to your particular foot in time, and much safer to dance in. I guess it’s like a corset for the foot, definitely not a shoe to wear for normal wear. I do like the classic style, it looks so much more authentic than non-Spanish brands. Also light in the hand and enough nails for a beginner.I am normally a size 6.5 in street shoes so I was worried about buying a size 37 (6). These shoes should be snug and these were at least half an inch too big. I have to return them for the 5.5, unfortunately. I have a wider foot but these are definitely more like a size 7. Decent shoes, good enough for a beginner. Unfortunately, these are much more on Amazon than they are on the Menkes website but they don't seem to deliver to the U.S. *shrug*The shoes fit perfectly and are very comfortable even though I have a wider foot.
